How will construction affect street parking?
Construction work may have periodic impact on street parking. We will make every effort to limit the impact to the community.
What are the hours of construction?
Normal construction hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There will be exceptions for certain critical activities.
Will you be working on weekends and holidays?
Except for exceptional situations, we hope to give all workers time off on Sundays and holidays.
Will there be any street closures? If yes, which streets and for how long?
Our planning is not complete for the construction program. We will provide advance notice for lane or street closures in accordance with the City of Miami requirements. Click on News and Updates for the latest information.
Will the construction affect access to the Metromover?
No. In fact, we will be making major improvements to the 8th Street Metromover station.
Will the construction interrupt Metromover schedule?
No.
Who is responsible for cleaning the roads of construction debris?
Our General Contractor.
What type of noise should I expect to hear?
Normal construction equipment operations, including equipment, pumps, etc.
What preparations will be made in the event of storm threat?
In the event of a severe weather alert, the General Contractor follows extensive guidelines for demobilizing and securing the construction site with particular emphasis upon protecting our neighbors from airborne construction materials. Construction site demobilization occurs according to the level of hurricane warning in effect. Check NOAA Weather for latest storm information.
What employment opportunities are there during Brickell CitiCentre construction?
An independent analysis projects more than 5,000 construction jobs will be created over the period that Brickell CityCentre is under construction. How will traffic be handled if construction on Brickell CitiCentre requires a street lane closure?
Brickell CityCentre has an agreed maintenance of traffic plan worked out with the appropriate authorities. In the event of a temporary lane closure, the traffic routing with be posted on our website. Check News & Updates for the current maintenance of traffic plan.
